About Us
Tim’s Bio
My name is Tim McGough and I am 24 years old.
I’ve lived in the Quad Cities and attended New Life Fellowship church for 21 years of my life, excluding the two years I spent interning for a Chi Alpha internship program in Carbondale at Southern Illinois University.
I’ve been a Christian for 17 years and I’ve been a radical Christian for the last two and a half years. I went through the whole rebellion stage of not wanting anything to do with God but God in His mercy brought me back. I ran from my calling to be a pastor for many years but God got a hold of me and all I wanted to do was become a pastor from then on.
I am currently serving in the newly established ministry as the Intern Director at New Life Fellowship.
I am also pioneering a campus ministry at Black Hawk College which is called Chi Alpha. Chi Alpha is a national recognized ministry based out of the Assemblies of God, much like Campus Crusade or Intervarsity which reaches out to the colleges and universities.
